Turning Two!

We celebrated Caleb's 2nd birthday by heading out to some local farms to enjoy some of their fall offerings. One stop was at a nearby pumpkin patch. After much cajoling, Caleb actually sat still and smiled for a picture, for like 3 seconds!

The hayrides are always a favorite!

Our little family - this one may be in the running for our Christmas card!

A Birthday Tea

To celebrate Abby's 4th Birthday we hosted a ladies tea for the ladies in our family. I have to admit, both Scott and I really enjoyed decorating our dining room for this event and we were very pleased with how it turned out.

Our resident waiters looked quite dapper in their uniforms.

Abby chose to wear her ballerina dress and a set of butterfly wings. Very appropriate attire for 4-year olds tea party...

Christmas Day Evening at Grandma and Papa's

Later in the day we headed over to Grandma & Papa's to celebrate with more Aunts, Uncles & Cousins...

Caleb has been fascinated with the dancing Santa & Mrs. Claus everytime we visit Grandma & Papa's, he has discovered how to push the button to make them dance and he happily dances along!

Ryan scored lots of cool gifts, one of them being Electronic Battleship...

Abby loved all of the "girly" gifts she got, especially the baby doll outfits and the jewelry!

Caleb wasn't quite sure what to make of all the gift unwrapping...but he did enjoy the gifts once the paper came off...

Christmas Morning at Home

We like to stay home on Christmas Morning...the kids woke up early (of course), we opened presents, had breakfast, and played...
Caleb loved his new cardboard blocks...

And so did big brother Ryan!

Abby got some more babies to love, and an apron and baking set so she can help Mom in the kitchen!

Ryan got some cool comics, and a crossbow (with rubber darts!)

Christmas Eve at Grandma & Grandpa's House

We celebrated with one set of Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles & cousins on Christmas Eve...

We were planning on going to our chuch's Candlelight Service...but Grandpa had a "homemade" Candlelight service that we really enjoyed - complete with kid-friendly candles, Christmas carols and a reading of the Christmas story!
